About

The mission of the ABBP is to promote and sustain black businesses, professionals, programs and initiatives in the areas and markets that we serve through networking, advocacy and education.

The Association accomplishes this mission in a variety of ways. To educate professionals, the ABBP hosts educational sessions on a monthly basis across a variety of subjects related to financial literacy, wealth growth & management, and better physical health.

To promote business the ABBP hosts the largest listing on black businesses on its website. The listing is free for businesses to list on and also the ABBP provides free promotions across social media platforms for those businesses to gain exposure.

The Association additionally provides a limited number of small grants to members looking to purchase investment property, hosts luncheons/dinners with local executives, and hosts networking events to help professionals meet and expand their networks.

Lastly, to help sustain business, the Association offers to host focus groups and/or connect business owners and/or professionals with members that may have acumen to assist them where needed.
